Titlestone funds The Garment Building

Titlestone have provided a senior debt facility to existing clients The Sunley Group, who are working in joint venture with Red Grouse Property, for the acquisition and subsequent refurbishment of The Garment Building, Chiswick High Road.

The Titlestone facility enables The Sunley Group to refurbish 17,400 sq. ft of existing office space over ground and two upper floors to Grade A standard, and the partners have a number of parties interested in taking the newly refurbished space.

Robert Orr CEO of Titlestone commented “A significant amount of secondary office space has been converted to residential since 2013, leading to an under supply in certain areas. Titlestone sees the opportunity in supporting some speculative commercial development in strong locations and with experienced property people. The combination of the Chiswick location alongside the quality of The Sunley Group and its partner, made this a development we were delighted to support”.

Titlestone continues to have an appetite for commercial development, with facilities between £2m-£10m available at up to 60% of the net investment value. Schemes for experienced developers will be considered in strong locations across London and the South East
